Delhi Police SI Recruitment 2013

Introduction: SSC or Staff Selection Commission recruits Sub-Inspectors of Delhi Police. The office headquarters are located at Jharoda Kalan village. Here largest recruitment is carried out for the sub-inspectors with Police of Delhi.

Recruitment Details 

Joint form is out for the recruitment of sub inspector in Delhi Police & CAPFs, Assistant Sub Inspector in CISF and Intelligence Officer in NCB Examination 2013.

There are 2240 vacancies offered to desiring candidates for the post of sub-inspector with Delhi police.

Vacancies for Sub Inspector in the CAPF category are 1176. There are 234 seats CRPF, 136 vacancies for ITBP, 314 seats for CISG and 68 vacancies for SSB.

330 vacancies are offered to Sub-Inspectors of Delhi Police and 734 seats to Assistant Sub-Inspector CISF.

Last date of online submission of forms is 10th April, 2013 and 12th April, 2013. For the second category applications can be received at the latest by 12th April, 2013. For distant areas the relaxation date is 19th April, 2013.

Paper 1 is scheduled for 10th June, 2013 and the second paper is to be given on 18th August, 2013.

Eligibility norms for Delhi Police SI

Post offered to the candidates requires candidates to fulfil certain norms and conditions as given in the advertisement. Only if the candidates’ fulfil the criteria can they apply for the position.

Age criteria for SI
  • Desiring applicants 20 yrs. and above up to the age 0f 25 yrs. can apply for the post of a Sub-Inspector.
Educational Qualifications

  • Applicants carrying a Bachelor’s degree can apply for the post of a Sub-Inspector. Apart from educational qualification a desiring candidate should own a driving license for a motor bike or a car.
Selection Process for sub inspector post

Applicants have to undergo a written exam for the post of Sub Inspector. The exam is competitive in nature. A physical test is also supposed to be clear to become eligible for the post. Document verification of all submitted papers is included in the selection process. A candidate has to undergo a medical test for this post. Last but not the least important is the interview which the candidate has to undergo for becoming a truly qualified sub inspector.

Apply Online 

Both online and offline registration process is on for the post of Sub-Inspector. A person applying online can pay via a credit card offered by State Bank of India. Net Banking can be used to the same. One can also use a debit card for payment. Online forms can be submitted at www.ssconline.nic.in. Applications need to be submitted at the latest by 12th April, 2013. Application format is available for download on the internet.

Offline forms can be forwarded to addresses given online. Information regarding certificates and other papers which need to be attached to the application form is also given online.

General applications are to be accompanied with a small sum of Rs.100/. There is no fee for female applicants.
