candidate must have passed Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal
Board of Secondary Education or equivalent examination from any Board
recognized by the State Government or the Central Government.

Selection Procedure: Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
How to apply
The
prescribed application form with detailed Information Brochure will be
available from the office of the Superintendents of Police of all
districts and the office of the Commissioner’s of Police of all Police
Commissionerate (except Kolkata) on all working days between 10 AM and
05:30 PM from 22/04/2013 to 22/05/2013. Application
Form will be issued to the candidates on production of Bank Draft /
Postal Order of Rs.150/- (One hundred fifty only) or Caste Certificate
(for the candidates from Schedule Tribe / Scheduled Caste Community of
West Bengal only) or Identity Card issued by the Labour Department,
Government of West Bengal in case of Exempted Category
candidate.Candidates must deposit a fee of Rs. 150/-(Rupees one hundred
fifty only) in theform of A/C Payee Demand Draft from any Nationalized
Bank / IPO purchased on or after 22/04/2013 in favour of “West Bengal
Police Recruitment Board” payable at Kolkata.
