Probation Period: An officer directly appointed in the post shall be on probation for the period of two years, which may be extended by the Appointing Authority for a period not exceeding one year.An employee directly appointed in the post shall be on probation for the period of one year, which may be extended by the Appointing Authority for a period not exceeding six month.

Service Bond : Candidates selected for appointment to the cadre of Officer Scale-I Scale II, have to execute a bond agreeing to pay to the Bank a sum of  Rs.100000/- in the event of their leaving the Bank’s job within a period of one year from the date of their joining. Similarly, candidates selected for appointment to the cadre of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) have to execute a bond agreeing to pay to the Bank a sum of Rs 50000/- in the event of their leaving the Bank’s job within a period of 1 year from the date of their joining. This will be in addition to the provisions of regulation 10 of Surguja Kshetriya Gramin Bank (Officers and Employees) Service Regulations-2010.
