IBPS Issued PO/MT Suppl Exam 2011 Call Letter -IBPS CWE 2011

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has issued CWE PO/MT Suppl Exam 2011 Call Letter. Supplementary Written Exam is scheduled to be held on 13th Nov 2011. IBPS call letter/ Information Handout will not be sent by post to any candidate.

Supp exam is conducted for the candidates who were disallowed to appear for the exam due to insufficiency of documents required. These are: Call letter with photograph affixed thereon, Original fee payment receipt, Original photo-identity proof and Photocopy of photo-ID proof.

At the time of Supplementary Exam, candidates must bring their call letter for Suppl Exam with the Original Fee Payment Receipt obtained while remitting fees for the CWE held on 18th Aug 2011 and their photo ID proof in original and a photocopy.

Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Jan 2012 - View Notification

CENTRAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION, DELHI CENTRAL TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST (CTET)-JAN 2012

The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi which will be held on 29.01.2012 (Sunday).
  1. The CTET shall apply to schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Tibetan Schools, etc.) and schools under the administrative control of UT of Chandigarh and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
  2. CTET may also apply to the unaided private schools, who may exercise the option of considering the CTET.
  3. Schools owned and managed by the State government/local bodies and aided schools shall consider the TET conducted by the State Government. However, a State Government can also consider the CTET if it decides not to conduct the State TET.

OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.
OR
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
Minimum Qualification for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

(a) Quantitative Methods
The questions will be designed to test the ability of appropriate use of numbers and number sense of the candidate. The scope of the test will be the computation of whole numbers, decimals fractions and relationships between numbers, Percentage. Questions in this components will be designed to test the candidate_s understanding and knowledge of English Language and will be based on spot the error, fill in the blanks, synonyms, antonyms, spelling/detecting mis-spelt words, idioms & phrases, one word substitution, improvement of sentences, active/passive voice of verbs, conversion into direct/indirect narration, shuffling of sentence parts, shuffling of sentences in a passage, close passage & comprehension passage
