Examination Fee :

Eligibility Criteria and Educational Qualifications Required

The criteria which is set as essential requirement to be fit for the vacant job positions available in the bank are mentioned in the table given below:-

Selection Procedures, Interviews and Written Examination

As already mentioned in the title of this para, there will be an examination for all the four categories to determine the suitable candidates for the available job posts. The syllabus for this test mainly covers Test on Reasoning, Quantitative & Data Interpretation, Financial Awareness, General Knowledge and English as some of the main subjects. There will be around 11 exam centers for this test in the state which are Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Nalbari, Golaghat, Tezpur, Silchar, Lakhimpur, Kokrajhar and Jorhat based on the post applied for. An interview will also be held for those candidates who are shortlisted from the results of the written examinations and during that day the candidate will also have to produce their original documents and particulars. The dates of exam are given below:-
  • The exam for Office Assistant will be held on 12th February 2012 while that of other post will be conducted on 19th February 2012.
  • The starting date for the online registration from Assam Gramin Vikash Bank website is 14th December 2011 for all the categories of post.
  • The closing date for registering online is 10th January 2012.
The candidates will have to pay the application fee along with postal charges while applying. The payment can be made through Bank Challans as available in the website of the bank accessible at www.agvbbank.co.in. The fees to be paid for the post code 01 is Rs.50/- for SC/ST/PWD and Rs.250/- for all others. The fees applicable for Post Code 02-09 is Rs.400/- except SC/ST and PWD who has to pay only a sum of Rs.50/- as Application Fee & Postal Charge.
