1. PhD Admission (entry after B.Tech and M.Sc.) : - The candidate must have first division in Graduation and Post graduation with a minimum of CGPI 8 on a scale of 10 or 75%. Ø Only B.Tech. degree from an IIT/IIIT/NIT/Any other Premium Institute of repute with minimum of 75% Premium Institute of repute with minimum of 75% marks/8.5 CGPI and with valid GATE score may also apply

2. PhD Admission (entry after M.Tech and MBA) : - The candidate must have M.Tech./M.E. degree with minimum of 65% marks/7.5 CGPI and First division minimum of 65% marks/7.5 CGPI and First division in B.Tech. or equivalent degree with GATE score. Ph.

Indian Air Force offers opportunities for Unmarried Male Indian Citizens from the designated Districts of State of Gujarat and Union Territories of Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli to join as Airmen. The Recruitment Test for Group ‘X’ (Technical) Trades and Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) Medical Assistant Trade only will be held at Police Parade Ground, Near Sarpat Gate, Khavda Road, Bhuj (Gujarat) as per the Selection Programme.

Qualification : (a) Group ‘X’ (Technical) Trades. (i) Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR (ii) Passed Three years Diploma Course in Engineering, as shown below, from a Government recognized Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks in overall aggregate, and 50% marks in English in Diploma or in Intermediate/ Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course.

(aa) Mechanical Stream 

(ab) Electrical/Electronics/IT Stream

(b) Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) Med Asst Trade Passed 10+2/ Intermediate / equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English

Pay & Allowances : During training, a stipend of Rs. 11,400/- per month will be paid. On completion of training the starting gross emoluments at the minimum of scale of pay including Grade Pay, Military Service Pay (MSP), Group ‘X’ Pay {applicable for Group ‘X’ (Technical) Trades only} and Dearness Allowance (DA) will be as follows:- 

(a) Group ‘X’ (Technical) Trades. Rs. 26,685/- per month (approximately) which, in subsequent years, may rise as per the career progression of the individual.  

(b) Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) Medical Assistant Trade. Rs. 23,535/- per month (approximately) which, in subsequent years, may rise as per the career progression of the individual.

Date of Birth Block : (a) Candidates born between 08 January 1997 and 28 June 2000 (both days inclusive) are eligible to appear in the Recruitment Rally. (b) In case, a candidate clears the Selection Procedure then the upper age limit as on date of enrolment is 21 years.

Selection Procedure : Written Test will be objective type and question paper will be bilingual (English & Hindi) except for English paper. Detailed procedure shall be explained before conduct of the examination.
