Central Board of Secondary Education, conducts Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship For College And University Students-2012

Eligibility : All conditions are mandatory and applicable to all categories of applicants a. The applicant should be an Indian national b. The applicant should have passed the Senior School Certificate Examination 2012 conducted by CBSE and have secured the total aggregate marks (in first five subjects) equal or above the following minimum marks as per the stream opted by the applicant:

c. The applicant should be pursuing higher studies and have taken admission in Under Graduation regular course (not correspondence or distance mode) from recognized Educational Institutions in India d. The applicant should not be availing any other scholarship e. Total Annual Income of parents of the applicant from all sources should not exceed Rs 4.5 lakh per annum f. The applicant should not belong to creamy layer as defined by DoP&T from time to time. (Govt. of India, Dept. of Per. & Trg., OM No. 36033/S/2004-Estt. (Res.), dated 14-10-2004) (This is applicable to all categories of applicants both ‘general’ and ‘reserved’)

Scholarship amount and duration :

Course	Amount	Disbursal
Graduation	Rs.1000/- per month* for three years	To be disbursed lump sum Amount of Rs.10,000/- at end of academic year.	For 4th and 5th year of Professional Courses @ Rs 2000/- per month.
Post Graduation (Other than that of the professional courses)	Rs 2000/- per month for two years after Graduation	To be disbursed lump sum Amount of Rs.20,000/- at end of academic year.

Number of scholarships will be distributed amongst pass out of the Science, Commerce and Humanities in ratio of 3:2:1. Reservation to SC, ST, OBC and PH will be as per guidelines of the Govt of India

Mode of Disbursal of Scholarship : a. Scholarship amount shall be sent to the selected candidate’s Bank Account only by ECS (Electronic Clearing System) mode. b. Applicants are requested to open Bank Account in his/her name in a branch of any Scheduled Nationalised/ commercial Bank which has ECS facility.Applicants are advised to provide their Bank Account number, Bank Name and detail address of the Bank and the correct RTGS/NEFT branch code of the Bank. c. No request for sending the amount of scholarship by Draft or in account of parents or joint account will be entertained.

Send the Online generated Application Form along with the following documents: Duly signed Online generated Application form., Joining report Attested by Head of Institution/Report., Copy of Mark sheet of Sr. School Certificate Exam – 2012 Write online registration no. on its top., Copy of Caste Certificate, if applicable. Write online registration no. on its top., Income Affidaviton a non-judicial stamp paper of Rs.10/- in original. Write online registration no. on its top., Income Tax Returns/Form-16 of both the Parents (of the year ending Mar 2010) issued by the employer should be attached alongwith the affidavit wherever applicable), Printout of Online Form bearing Registration No. and other documents be sent to “Section Officer (Scholarship), 7th floor, CBSE, Shiksha Kendra, 2, Community Centre, Preet Vihar, Delhi- 110092” by ordinary post superscribing “ Online CSSS-2012” on top left. Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi will be conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VIII on 18.11.2012

Qualification : Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education). How to apply

Candidates should Apply Online. The candidate should supply all the details while filling up the ‘On-line’ Application. Candidates are required to take a print out of the computer generated Confirmation page after successful submission of data, which has to be sent to CBSE, CTET Unit, after affixing a passport size photograph and signature in the space provided, along with the Bank Draft. The Confirmation Page, duly completed in all respect, should be sent to CBSE, CTET Unit, after affixing a passport size photograph and signature in the space provided, in an envelope of size 12”x9” super scribed in bold letters “APPLICATION FOR CTET-NOV 2012” by Registered/Speed Post so as to reach positively by 07.09.2012 in the CBSE office on the following address : The Assistant Secretary(Ctet) , Central Board Of Secondary Education, A-1, Swasthya Vihar, Vikas Marg (Opp. Metro Pillar-76), New Delhi-110 092.
