Age Limit : The applicant shall have completed 21 years of age and be 35 years of age as on 01.08.2013

Selection Procedure : Selection will be made on the basis of a written test if necessary, followed by an Interview of candidates who qualify in the written test. Written Test will be of Objective Type covering Test of Reasoning, Numerical Ability and General Knowledge. The date and venue of the written test, if to be conducted, will be communicated to the eligible candidates individually.

Interview :Candidates successful in the written test (if conducted) or eligible candidates will be called for an Interview. The Corporation reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates to be called for written test and/or interview commensurate with number of Financial Service Executives to be engaged and the decision of the Corporation in this regard shall be final. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard. Selected candidates will be engaged as Financial Services Executives subject to their being found medically fit by the Medical Examiner authorized by the LIC for the purpose.

Note : 1. The choice of the examination center will be taken as the Head Quarters of the Divisional Office to which the candidate has applied. 2. No change in the choice of examination centre will be entertained under any circumstances. The Corporation reserves the right to add or delete any Centre or alter examination date at its discretion.

Application Fee (Non-Refundable) : For all candidates (other than SC/ST category): Rs100/-The Application Fee shall be paid by Demand Draft only (valid for six months), favouring “Life Insurance Corporation of India” and payable at Head Quarters of the Divisional Office which the candidate chooses. Candidate’s name and date of birth should be written on the reverse of the Demand Draft.

Service Agreement Bond:The selected candidates will have to execute a service agreement bond of Rs.2 Lakhs to be submitted in the prescribed format at the time of joining in DVC for serving at least 3(Three) years after successful completion of one year probation period.

Selection Procedure: The candidates will be short listed for Group Discussion (GD),Psychometric Test (PT), & Personal Interview on the basis of GATE- 2013 marks out of 100 in order of merit in the ratio of 1:5 to the number of vacancies in each discipline and category for further selection process.Theselection process would be three-tier system involving the followings: 
(a). Group Discussion:  Group Discussion is an elimination round and result of GD will be announced on the spot.
(b). Psychometric Test (PT): Candidates who qualify in the GD will be allowed to appear in the PT. The PT shall be conducted for around half an hour.
(c). Personal Interview (PI):- Candidates who reach the PT stage will be allowed to appear in the PI based on which selection panel in order of merit would be prepared.

Age Limit

Stipend: Appointed Management Trainees will be paid a consolidated pay of Rs 23,000/- per month during first year and Rs.28,000/- per month during second year of training.

Absorption: On successful completion of training of 2 years and subject to performance assessment, the Management Trainees will be absorbed in the Managerial cadre in E2 grade of pay (` 20600 - 46500) as Engineer/ Officer/Senior Sales Officer. At the start of the scale E2, an Engineer/Officer/ Senior Sales Officer will get around ` 39,000/- (Basic+DA+HRA). On absorption, they will be eligible for other perks like
medical reimbursement, accommodation in township, local travel allowance for those maintaining vehicles / transport subsidy, subsidized meals, etc. as per rules. Cost to the Company(CTC) at current rates is 6.30 lakhs approximately. 


Method of Selection:   Selection will be made based on written test, group discussion and interview. written test will be held at Kochi only.

Application Fee: Candidates will have to take the print out of the downloaded chalan form for remittance of application fee. Once the 3 part Chalan is downloaded, he/she can remit the prescribed fee of Rs 800/- (plus bank charges) at any branch of State Bank of India till 1.00 pm on 10.08.2013.

Service Agreement Bond: (applicable only to Management Trainees) Selected candidates will have to execute a bond to serve the Company for a minimum period of 5 years including training or to pay Rs 1,00,000/- as compensation to the Company for which the candidate will have to furnish a surety bond to be executed by parents/ guardian/reliable surety. No 7 bond is proposed in the case of SC/ST.

Qualification : Candidates must possess LLB with minimum 55% marks and they must be eligible for registration with Bar Council of India/State.

Age Limit : Candidates’ age must be more than 21 years and less than 27 years.

Physical Standards : Height & Weight : The minimum acceptable height and weight for men is 157.5 cms with correlated weight and for women candidates is 152 cm and 42 kg. In case of candidates belonging to the North East and highly areas. Visual Standards : The minimum acceptable visual acuity are : Distant vision (corrected) better eye 6/6, worse 6/18, Myopia not more than minus 3:5 including Assignation.

Selection Process : Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for first stage of selection, which includes Group Test, Psychological Test and Interview. Those who qualify in first stage will have to appear for stage two which includes psychological aptitude test followed by document verification and medical examination.

Candidates need to download application format available in the notification, fill it with all mandatory details, attach photograph, attest signature, super scribe ‘Application for Short Service Commission (NT) Men and Women Course – Apr 2014 for Judge Advocate Generals Department’ on the envelope and send it along with copies of all relevant certificates, to the following address, Directorate General of Recruitment Rtg. JAG Entry , AG’s Branch, Army Headquarters, West Block – III, RK Puram, New Delhi – 110 066 on or before 31-08-2013 only through Registered post.
