Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the results of Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2015. More than 15,000 candidates for the main examination has been declared successful.
UPSC secretary Ashim Khurana, "Total 15 008 candidates were successful in the preliminary examination." Record nine lakh 45 thousand 908 candidates had applied for the exam, which took place on August 23, nearly 4.63 million candidates sat the preliminary exam.

Khurana said, 'examination within 50 days of the initial test results were declared. This is the short period in which the initial test results have been declared. " 51 days in 2014, the test results were declared.
UPSC said that all the successful candidates of Civil Services (Main) Examination is advisable to fill the wide application online. December 18, 2015 will be the main test.
UPSC Civil Services Examination in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS) officers and other services each year to select the initial three phases, main and interview is taken.
