United Bank of India invites applications from male sportspersons for its team in Football, Cricket & Table Tennis in Officer & Clerical cadre . Applications are also invited from Boxers, Wrestlers & Athletes in Clerical Cadre.

Sports Qualification : Should have represented the State Cricket/ Football/Table Tennis/Boxing/Wrestling Athletics in National events organized by AIFF & BCCI (Senior/ Under 22/ Under 19) like Santosh Trophy / Dr. B C Roy Trophy/ M Dutta Roy Trophy, Ranji Trophy /Vijay Hazare Trophy / CK Nayudu Trophy/ All India Inter- Bank / Inter Institutional Table Tennis Championship , Senior /Junior National TT Championship with distinction or represented his university in Football/ Cricket/TT/ Boxing/Wrestling Athletics in All India Inter-varsity event recognized by AIFF & BCCI (like Rohinton Barua Trophy/TTFI etc.) | 15 (Footballer- 6, Cricketer - 6, Boxer- 1, Wrestler-1 & Athlete ( Track runner) -1) | 18-28 yrs |
Application Fee (Including Postage Charge) (Non-Refundable) :
(a) For General (including OBC) in Officers Post : Rs. 400.00 (Application Fee plus postage) (b) For General (including OBC) in Clerical Post : Rs. 200.00 (Application Fee plus postage) (c) For SC/ST/ (Both Clerk & Officer) & EXSM (clerical Cadre) : Rs. 50.00 (towards postage only) Requisite Application Fee is to be deposited at any of the Branches of United Bank of India, through a Deposit Challan as per the format given in the Bank’s website or by NEFT from any Bank Branches .
Note: (i) Demand Drafts, Cheques, Money Orders, Postal Orders, Pay Orders, Banker’s Cheques, postal stamps, etc., will not be accepted (ii) The payment towards application fee will be accepted by our Branches between 30.08.2012 to 14.09.2012. (iii) Application once made will not be allowed to be withdrawn and fee once paid will NOT be refunded under any circumstances nor can it be held in reserve for any other future selection process. Payment of application fee and /or postal charges by Demand Draft /Cheques /Money Orders /Postal Order etc. will not be accepted. vi) Obtain the Applicant’s Copy of Counterfoil of the deposit challan duly receipted by the Bank with (a) Branch Name & Branch SOL ID (b) Transaction ID and (c) Deposit Date. vii) Candidates are now required to apply as per application format available in Bank’s Website. viii) Application form should be carefully filled in. The details of application fees as required in the application form is available in the Deposit Challan. A recent photograph should be pasted on the application with signature across it. All other required details as mentioned therein should be filled in correctly.
Selection Procedure : The selection will be made on the basis of performance of the candidates in the interview and on-Field Trials. Merely satisfying the eligibility norms will not entitle a candidate to be called for interview. Depending on the number of applications received , the Bank reserve the right to call only the required number of candidates after preliminary screening with reference to their educational qualifications ,suitability, sports qualification /experience age ,etc. The short listed candidates will be called for interview and on Field Trials. Selection process may vary depending upon the level of responses received against each post.
Pay Scale : JMG Scale-I : 14,500-600-25,700. Clerical Cadre : 7200-19300
Probation : JMG Scale- I- 2 Years Clerical Cadre – 6 months
