Qualification : Full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in the disciplines of Metallurgy / Mechanical / Electrical from a University/ Institute recognized by AICTE with minimum 60% of marks in the aggregate of all years / semesters (50% in aggregate for SC/ST/PWD candidates). Candidates must be in possession of Marks Sheets and Provisional Certificate/ Degree, all dated on or before 31.07.2014.

Age Limit: Born not earlier than 1st March 1987. Upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC (non-creamy layer);5 years for SC/ST and 10 years for PWD candidates. Those domiciled in the state of Jammu & Kashmir from 1/1/1980 to 31/12/1989 will be allowed 5 years relaxation in upper age limit.

Training and Pay : Selected candidates will be on training for a period of twenty four (24) months, which may be extended for cases where progress during training is found not satisfactory. Candidates will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs.10,700/- (consolidated) during the first year and a monthly stipend of Rs.12,200/- (consolidated) during the remaining period of training. On satisfactory completion of training, candidates will be considered for appointment on probation to a regular post, subject to availability of vacancies in any Operation/Maintenance/ Service/ Mines area, with a minimum basic pay of Rs.9160/- in the pay scale of Rs.9160-3%-13150/- (S-3) with usual D.A. and allowances as admissible under the rules in force from time to time. Pay scale is due for upward revision w.e.f. 1.1.2012

Selection Process : Written test on General Aptitude (including knowledge in English and Telugu) and Branch (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation). Test paper will be set in bilingual in English and Telugu. Candidates shortlisted based on performance in written test will be called for interview. Merit list will be prepared separately for each branch and candidates will be selected as per the vacancies in each branch
