Qualification : Assistant Professor’ (04 Posts) : Bachelors Degree in Architecture and Masters Degree in Architecture or related discipline with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelors or Masters Degree. ‘Assistant Professor’ (Specialisation – Engineering)’ (01 Post): Bachelors and Masters Degree in Engineering or Technology (Electrical Engineering) with first class or equivalent either in Bachelors or Masters Degree. ‘Assistant Professor (Specialisation – Fine Arts)’ (01 Post) : Bachelors and Masters Degree in Fine Arts with specialisation in painting, sculpture, applied art or art history & art criticism, with first class or equivalent either in Bachelors or Masters Degree. Where, for the above : Equivalence of First Class is a minimum of 60% in aggregate, if a class or division is not awarded. Desirable : ONE (01) year experience in teaching and/or research and/or industry in a reputed organization; Papers presented at Conferences and/or in refereed journals. Assistant Professor of Planning’ (03 Posts) : Bachelors Degree in Architecture/Planning/Technology/Engineering and Masters Degree in Planning with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelors or Masters Degree. OR Masters Degree in Economics/Geography/Sociology and a Masters Degree in Planning with First Class or equivalent in both the two Masters degrees. Where, for the above: Equivalence of First Class is a minimum of 60% in aggregate, if a class or division is not awarded. Desirable : ONE (01) year experience in teaching and/or research and/or industry in a reputed organization; Papers presented at Conferences and/or in refereed journals.
Candidate fill the Application forms in the prescribed format. Alternately, Application Form can also be obtained from the Assistant Registrar, School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada by post on payment of a nonrefundable fee of Rs.50/- (Rupees fifty only) towards Cost of Application form vide demand draft drawn in favour of “School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada” payable at Vijayawada, either in person, or on written request accompanied by a self-addressed envelope of size 30cm.x 15cm. A non-refundable Application Fee of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) is payable (applicable for UR and OBC candidates only) vide Demand Draft from any Nationalized Bank drawn in favour of “School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada” payable at Vijayawada. Last date for receipt of completed Application Form is 29th June, 2012, by 05:00 PM at the following address: The Registrar, School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada, S.No.71 / 1, NH-5, Nidamanuru, Vijayawada – 521 104, A.P., India. The completed application form in all respects along with the passport size photograph and self attested copies of relevant certificates, three references and other testimonials in support of age, qualification, caste and experience should be sent in a sealed envelope super scribing: “Application for the Faculty post of ……… in …… Department, Post. S. No…”.
