Central Glass & Ceramic Research Institute [ CGCRI ] was inaugurated 1950 by the Government of India under the Ministry of Science & Technology as a national laboratory under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research [ CSIR ].
Total five vacancies are for the post of Scientists. Out of these, two posts are for OBC candidates and two are for ST candidates.
Age limit: Candidates of OBC category should not be more than 35 years and ST candidates should be less than 37 years of age.
Qualification: Candidates should posses degree of M.E./ M.Tech in Chemical/ Metallurgical/ Ceramic engineering OR should posse Ph.D degree in the relevant discipline. Specialization in speciality glass membrane, refractory, structural ceramics, electro ceramics, coating, materials characterization, clay is desirable.
To take up the challenges, an advertisement no. 01/2012 has been released by CSIR – CGCRI , Kolkata for the recruitment of Scientists. For this, only Indian Nationals are eligible and can apply latest by 20th March 2012 by sending an application form in a prescribed format along with other required documents. Initial screening and after that personal interview is the mode of selection.
