Sashastra Seema Bal or SSB was established in 1963 by the Government of India under the Ministry of Home Affairs as one of the India’s Central Armed Police Force with the name as Special Service Bureau. Its head quarter is at New Delhi. SSB is a Border Guarding Force which comprise of many departments like department of telecom, Armour, medical, MT, clerical, general duty, intelligence,veterinary,personnel, cipher and legal department.
