1300 Recruitment of Field Investigators in NSSO(National Sample Survey Office)

Applications are invited from Indian Citizen for engagement of around 1300 (Tentative figure) Field Investigators on contract basis all over the country for a period ending 31.03.2012. The selected candidates will be responsible for field Surveys of NSSO and would be placed at one of the Notional Sub Regional Office/Sub Regional Office indicated at Column 4 of Annexure.

Essential Qualification:

(a) Graduate degree with Statistics/Economics/Mathematics as one of the papers at degree level.

(b) Fluency in English and local language (as per choice of Region).

(c) Knowledge of computer applications like MS office etc.

Procedure to Apply: Interested candidates may send their application in the prescribed format along with Self-Addressed duly stamped envelope to the Deputy Director General of the Regional Office concerned as per details given in Column 3 of Annexure. Candidates are advised to apply in only one Regional Office, in case it is found that a candidate has applied in more than one Regional Office his application will be rejected.

Last Date for Submitting Application: The Application must reach the Deputy Director General of Regional Office concerned by 31st March. 2011.
