Note : i. The above posts are exclusively for the respective Company. Once a candidate is selected for a particular company, no request for change of the Company shall be entertained. ii. The allotment of company to the candidates in the Merit List will be on alternate basis amongst the three companies starting from NBPDCL. iii. Age Limit : 21-40 Years  (As on 31.08.2013)

Compensation : a. Pay (Consolidated Pay including HRA): i. AEE/ AE (Civil)/ RO : Rs. 
32000-51000/- ii. JEE Gr.-II / JE Gr.-II (Civil): Rs. 15500-24000/-b. Annual increment @ 4% (Four percent) will be paid. c. As an incentive, an additional payment up to 2% may also be allowed based on the performance of the individual. d. No other allowances would be given in addition to the pay fixed in above Pay. PF, Gratuity and Group insurance would be paid as per Company Rules

Application Fee : a. Application fee is Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) only for all categories except SC/ ST of Bihar domicile, for whom it will be Rs.250/- (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty only). b. Application fee is to be deposited in the BSP(H)CL Current A/C No.- (Power Jyoti) 31963202219 in any State Bank of India branch by filling a triplicate Challan which may be downloaded from prescribed website

Mode of Selection : For AEE/ AE (Civil): i. Candidates would be shortlisted based on the valid score in the GATE examination. ii. Merit List would be prepared on the basis of valid GATE Score, Experience marks and Interview. iii. Weightage of marks obtained in the GATE would be 80% and out of balance 20%, 10% each would be for the relevant work experience and interview.  b. JEE, Gr.-II / JE (Civil), Gr.-II : i. Candidates would be shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in the ‘Written Test’. ii. Merit List would be prepared on the basis of written test , work Experience(If any) and percentage of marks in Engineering Degree Exam.(only for candidates having degree in engineering). iii. Weightage for written test and work experience should be 75% and 10% respectively. iv. Candidates with prior relevant work experience of 5 (Five) or more years in any Government/ Semi-Government Organization/ PSU would be given maximum marks. v. No weightage would be given to experience below 2 (two) years. Marks will be awarded on prorata basis for work experience between 2 (two) years to 5 (five) years.i. Candidates would be shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in written test. ii. Merit List would be prepared on the basis of written test, Experience and Interview in the following manner; (a) Weightage for marks obtained in written test 80%. (b) Weightage for experience 10%. (c) Weightage for interview 10%. iii. (a) Candidates with prior relevant work experience of 5 (five) or more years in any Government/ Semi-Government Organization/ PSU/ would be given maximum marks. iv. No weightage would be given to experience below 2 (two) years. v. Marks will be awarded on prorata basis for work experience between 2 (two) years to 5 (five) years 

Probation Period : The probation period shall be 2 years from the date of appointment. If during probation period, the performance is not found satisfactory, probation shall be extended by one year. Even if during extended period of probation the performance is not satisfactory, the services shall be terminated
