Indian Army, NCC Special Entry Scheme 36th Course-Oct-2014 Short Service Commission (NT) for Men & Women
Qualification:
(i) Degree of a recognized university or equivalent with aggregate of
minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years. (ii)
Service in NCC: Should have served for minimum two academic years in the
senior Division/ Wing of NCC (iii) Grading: Should have obtained
minimum of 'B" Grade in 'C' Certificate Exam of NCC.
Note: For Wards of battle Casualities holding of NCC 'C' certificate is not applicable.
Vacancies: 50 for men and 04 for Women.
Age Limit: 19 to 25 yrs (not born earlier than 02 July 1989 and not later than 01 July 1995)
Method of selection: Selection will be in two stages consist of Group Test/ Psychological Test/ Interview/ Medical Test.
Physical Standards:
Minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cm. Visual Standards: Distant Vision
(corrected) Better Eye: 6/6, Worse Eye: 6/18. Myopia: not more than
3.50 (for women: 5.50), and those who undergone surgery for better
vision including Astigmatism will be considered only under conditions.
Training: Training
will be at Officers Training Academy, Chennai for a period of 49 weeks.
After successful completion of training the candidates will be granted
rank of Lt.
Salary Scale: Rs.15600-39000
How to apply
Applications must be in the prescribed format. A self attested photograph must be pasted in the application form.
The applications must be posted to the nearest OC, NCC units from which
the NCC 'C' certificate has been issued. Candidates serving Armed
Forces also follow the same procedure. The application should be duly
signed by the Commanding Officer and advance copy of the same should be
send to DG, NCC West Block-IV, RK Puram, New Delhi-110066 on or before 31st January 2013
along with attested copies of relevant documents. For Wards of battle
Casualities holding of NCC 'C' certificate, applications should be sent
to Addl.Dte Gen of Recruiting, Recruiting NCC Entry, West Block-III, RK Puram, New Delhi-110066 on or before 28th February 2013.
