Pay Scale : Rs. 5,200-20,200/-
 
Age Limit : 18- 25 years as on 01.07.2014. 

Examination Fee : 1. Demand Draft/Indian Postal Order of Rs.100/- for all grade pay. DD/IPO should be drawn in favour of shown in table below. This DD/IPO are non-refundable in any case.
2. No examination fee for SC/ST /Women/minorities candidates. 

Recruitment Procedure : For vacancies against Headquarter quota selection will be conducted by North estern Railway, Headquarter, Jaipur and for vacancies against divisions/workshop will be done by the respective division/ workshop themselves. Selection of candidates will be based on their achievements in relevant sports, educational qualification, general intelligence, personality, game skills, physical fitness and observations of coach & trial committee during trial. All eligible candidates will be called for Trial and after Trial, only the FIT candidates will be called for Interview. Candidates declared NOT FIT by the Trial Committee will not be assessed further.
