1. Graduate Apprentices /11 Posts
Qualification: 1) A degree in engineering or technology in relevant discipline granted by a statutory University. 2) A degree in engineering or technology in relevant discipline granted by an institution empowered to grant such degrees by an Act of Parliament. 3) Graduate examination of professional bodies in relevant discipline recognized by the Central Government as equivalent to a degree.
2. Technician Apprentices/13 Posts
Qualification: 1) A diploma in engineering or Technology in relevant discipline granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Educational established by a State Government.
2) A diploma in engineering or technology in relevant discipline granted by a University.
3) A diploma in engineering or technology in relevant discipline granted by an Institute recognized by the State Government or Central Government
3. Trade Apprentices /47 Posts
Qualification: 1) Passed 8th class/ 10th class examination under
10+2 system of education or its equivalent with ITI pass in relevant trade from
NCVT/SCVT.
2) For Discipline Code-17- Trade Apprentice {Lab-Asst(Chemical Plant)}: Passed 10th class examination under 10+2 system of education or its equivalent with ITI Pass in Lab-Asst(Chemical Plant) Trade from NCVT/SCVT or Passed BSc with Physics and Chemistry as subjects.
STIPEND: Rate of stipend of the apprentices will be as prescribed under the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 and as notified by Government from time to time.
