Indian Air Force, invites applications for unmarried male candidates for the selection as an Airman in the Group 'X' (Technical) Trades
Qualification : Pass in Intermediate/10+2/equivalent examination with minimum 50% marks in aggregate with Physics, Mathematics OR 03 years Diploma in any stream of Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Automobile or Computer Science or Instrumentation Technology or Information
Technology) with at least 50% marks.
Age Limit: Born between 01 October 1991 to 30 November 1995 (both days inclusive).
Medical Standards: (a) Height: 152.5 cm Chest: Minimum range of expansion: 5 cm (b) Weight: Proportionate to height and age. (c) Hearing: Candidates should have normal hearing (d) Dental: Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points. (f) Health: Candidates should be free from medical or surgical deformity. He should be free from all communicable diseases and skin ailments. Candidates must be physically and mentally FIT to perform duty in any part of the world, in any climate and terrain.
In addition to above medical standards, following are prerequisite for Group 'X'.

The Indian Air Force was officially established on 8 October 1932.Its first ac flight came into being on 01 Apr 1933. It possessed a strength of six RAF-trained officers and 19 Havai Sepoys (literally, air soldiers). The aircraft inventory comprised of four Westland Wapiti IIA army co-operation biplanes at Drigh Road as the "A" Flight nucleus of the planned No.1 (Army Co- operation) Squadron.
