| Horticulture Officers | Candidate must possess B.Sc. Degree in Horticulture or M.Sc. (Agriculture) with specialization in Horticulture of a recognized university in the State or any other university/ institutions recognized by the University Grants Commission and as per G.O.Ms.No.355, Food & Agri. (Agri.II) Dept., dt.7-3-1992 first preference shall be given to the candidates who possessed B.Sc. (Horticulture) and in case of non-availability of B.Sc. (Horticulture) candidates, preference will be given to those who possessed M.Sc. (Agri.) Horticulture. Further, Government have given provision in G.O.Ms.No.12, Agri. & Coop. (Horti.) Dept., dt.11-1-1996 to consider B.Sc.(Ag.) qualification in respect of S.C. & S.T. candidates when B.Sc. (Horticulture) candidates are not available among S.C. & S.T. only. For this purpose candidates with (4) years B.Sc. (Horticulture)/ B.Sc. (Agriculture) alone (only for S.Cs. & S.Ts.) are considered. | 133 |
